My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here’s super cool and super adorable Quincy! If you look at the breed books he looks like an English coonhound, the oldest coonhound breed…but not a very well-known one! Quincy is between 12-18months old, just a pup still! He is so friendly, affectionate and such a happy boy. Quincy was in long term boarding due to being pulled from Murray County shelter in NW Georgia, only to be forgotten because his rescue person became ill. So we came to his rescue, put Quincy in foster care and now transporting him back to Washington and his new forever home! Quincy weighs about 45 lbs and is a bundle of fun. Ready for walks or walks with you and anything outdoors! This cutest of hound boys would love a family of his own with active kids or adults. He loves games, is quite smart and really loves the water too, Quincy is great on the leash, excellent in the house and quite quiet (for a hound!). If left for long periods alone in his crate he will get bored and try to find a way out. So you’ll want to keep him with you or wear him out or give him things to do in his crate! He’d love anther doggie sibling too! He’s been around kids, horses, dogs, pigs and soon cats…he's even great with kitties. Everyone else was his new best friend! Quincy loves being with his people and really aims to please so he will be easy to finish his training. He knows his basics, but just needs to re-fine his manners as he is still a puppy! Quincy will be arriving on June 7th and hopes to be having you waiting for him! He’ll ride great in the car on the way home, love your back yard, sniff his way around the neighborhood and curl up next to you and sigh…it’s time this precious hound had a real place of his own! Quincy’s adoption fee is $400 and he is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Please fill out an online application at www.raincityrescue.com and for questions email Pam at raincityrescue.com. This happy hound will not disappoint you!
