Zoey's Story...
Hi - My name is Zoey and I'm about 4 months old. Everyone says I'm just the cutest, sweetest little girl. I'm going to be a small dog - maybe about 15 pounds when I'm full grown. Our vet says I'm almost pure bred, but I don't have the short tail of a Schnauzer and my face isn't quite square. My personality is a bit more outgoing, too, and I don't bark very much. I love to play and I love to be cuddled. I'm very good with cats - my foster family has several - and I'm very respectful. I also live with larger dogs and I like them, too. I'm outgoing and am happy to greet people who come visit. I'd be happy in a home with kids who'll play with me and being in a home with other pets would be great, too. If you'd like to learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Cathy, at (619) 822-1577 or email her at catherine888@mac.com. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Chula Vista Miniature Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
