Hi--I'm Nevada! I was found as a stray in a southwest neighborhood here in Houston. People in the neighborhood kept seeing me, and I was clearly far away from home and alone on the streets. They think I was just dumped there. Thankfully, a kind foster stepped in and got me off the streets and into an adoption program. I'm a love bug; I love to be around people and love to give kisses to everyone I meet. When I'm being walked, I want to say hello to everyone I meet along the way. I'm good with other dogs and also love to give other dogs kisses, too. I'm one of the most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet.
I'm well behaved in the car and like to lie down in the back seat when the car is moving and look out the window. I enjoy walks and will also make a wonderful running or jogging buddy. I love my foster doggie brother and we play for hours on end--I'll make a great companion for another doggie who enjoys playing. I'm a snuggle bunny and just a love and enjoy being with my person and doggie brothers.
I'm a young, energetic American Pitbull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I have a gorgeous chocolate, faint brindle coat that is so unique. I'm about a year old and great with people and kids and other dogs. Probably I will do best in a home without cats. I want to chase them, not to hurt them but they don't like being chased by me. I've been spayed and micro-chipped and am up-to-date on shots. I'm a smart dog who wants to please and such a fast learner and the sky is the limit with what you could train me to do. Like most all young dogs,I'll benefit greatly from an owner who will invest in obedience training with me. I'll make a loyal and loving companion for some lucky person.
