George's Story...
George is such a fashion accessory. He's draped over the arm of a toddler most of the day and when she puts him down, he begs for more! He has two brothers as well as other dogs and cats in his foster home and he does great with everybody, including two children. He loves scampering up and down his cat tower and you can always tell which kitten is George. He has NO tail! We'd love to introduce him to you -- please email info@fORrescue.net and you may also complete an application at www.FORrescue.net. It's not a binding application, it's simply a starting point. Thank you! George is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
