My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sully is a big 5 year old male who just retired from long racing career after he sprained his ankle. He has a great personality. He is not small dog or cat tolerant. He is now in foster.

So the word around the kennel is I was named after a monster! I'm an AWESOME dog, so I found that hard to believe. A volunteer explained that Sully was a nice, fuzzy, friendly monster. I'm nice and fuzzy and friendly so I guess that works.

I have a blast when I get out of my kennel during morning turnout. I play with the volunteers and the the toys, and soak up lots of love. I try to remember I shouldn't jump up, but I want to hug back!

I can't wait to find a forever family where I can run free all day and get pets whenever I want. Toes crossed it will happen soon.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Sully loves being retired, and takes it seriously. He is quite mellow at home and on walks, and is a happy, confident boy. He gets along great with his three foster greyhound brothers. He loves squeaky toys and gladly shares them with people and his foster brothers, is house-trained using a doggy door, does not get up on beds or furniture, loves riding in the car, and is not possessive of food. He is still learning not to chew the tooth-brush, and has no problem with his foster mom trimming his nails with the rotary nail file. Loud noises to not bother him at all. He would do well as an only-dog or with other medium to large dogs (no small dogs or cats).
