Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jim is a sweet natured X year old male. He is a Border Collie mix and we believe that he is mixed with some Cattle Dog. He is black and white with some mottling on his legs and he has a semi rough coat. He weighs about 35 lbs.
Jim walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He has not had any accidents in crate, so he is well on his way to being house trained. He has a nice temperament and likes to hang around with you. He has not been evaluated with small children or cats.
Jim is quite the water baby, and likes to play ball. He is socialized with other dogs, however, he is choosy which males he likes and sometimes will be a bit snippy with them. As a result, BCIN recommends opposite gender placement to avoid any issues.
Jim is a nice little dog that will fit into most home environments that is fairly active. He does require further training and BCIN recommends that he attend obedience classes with his new owner.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
