My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oden was severely beaten, suffering 3 skull fractures, orbital fractures and is now blind, but he is in high-spirits and his future looks so bright! Although he suffered severe abuse at the hands of humans, he has nothing but love and kisse...s to give! Oden will spend the next few months recovering in a foster home, and we will keep everyone updated on his progress. The doctors are hopeful that Oden's eyesight will return.

We would like to thank First State Animal Center and SPCA for saving Oden and taking him to Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware to receive life-saving care. Oden owes his life to the doctors and staff at VSCD. Oden is now part of Pit Bull Pride of Delaware and we will now take over his care. Since Oden suffered serious head trauma, he will spend the next several months recovering in peace. He is also on restricted activity, no playing, etc. We will not be able to determine if Oden is dog or cat social until he is fully recovered (estimated time 3 to 4 months). Plus Oden is recently blind and is still learning to adapt to a new world. We are hopeful his sight will return, and Oden will see the ophthalmologist for regular visits.
