Morty-ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story...
Morty is a handsome guy who would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a walking partner and best friend. He likes to be with you, but yet is not clingy. He loves to chase reflections/shiny things that may be on the wall, floor, etc. He is quite entertaining! He likes other dogs, but would do best in a home without cats. Morty is deaf, but gets along fine and knows some sign language. He will bark when he thinks he hears something, or when he sees other dogs barking :-) Morty can be a sanctuary dog where we will pay for his medical expenses. He just needs a home to spend the rest of his golden years. Morty was surrendered by his owners because they could no longer care for him. He is about 10-11 years old. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morty-ADOPTION PENDING!, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
