Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adult, spayed female, domestic shorthair, tortoiseshell, declawed. Lucy originally came to PCS when she was picked up by our local ACO. This declawed cat was scanned for a microchip (none found) and no one came forward to claim her. Most likely poor Lucy was deserted by her family. Back in March, Lucy was placed in a home with another cat. Problems began due to inappropriate introduction of the cats. The cat that was already living in the home became very aggressive toward Lucy and started urinating inappropriately. PCS offered guidance and gave the woman a direct line to our Administrator. When she hadn’t called we assumed all was going well. Five weeks after being adopted we received a call from a shelter in Salem informing us that Lucy had been left there!! We were horrified! All she had to do was call us and we would have taken Lucy back. Lucy has been through a lot of changes….she has readjusted to life back at PCS and is being loved by everyone. Her next home will be where she will live as the only pet in the household with someone who will not desert her! We LOVE Lucy and we know you will too!
