My name is Luna, the Lovebug Lapcat. I am an affectionate tortie lynx point Siamese mix and an all around gorgeous gal and regal lady. My foster mommy calls me "majestic."
HPC found me at a high kill shelter where I was brought in as a stray. I don't know how long I was on the streets, but I was very sick and scared at the shelter and was rescued by HPC on what would have been my last day. Everyone at the shelter knew I would be a wonderful kitty companion with the proper love and care and they were right. I had many fans on facebook rooting for me to be saved! I am now well and thriving. I am a lucky girl and I know it!
I like to spend my days sunning in the cat tree by the window. My morning and evening mealtime routines are highlights of my day. I love eating and am still putting on needed weight! I am a lapcat, a snuggler and a nuzzler. I sometimes like to climb high on my foster mommy's shoulder when she holds me so I can nuzzle my face in her hair. At night, I like to lay on my foster mommy's chest, bury my face under her chin and purr her to sleep. Sometimes I will even suckle on her ear. If I ever getoverstimulated or upset I will let you know with my expressive tail. I do talk a little, but I am more soft-spoken than some of my chatty Siamese brothers and sisters.
I have gorgeous blue/ grey eyes that change color depending on the light and my mood. I also have cute white boots (see! very ladylike!) I am slender, long and leggy with an expressive striped tail and soft fur.
Because I had to compete with other kitties on the street, I think I would prefer being an only kitty at this time. I still get a little stressed by other cats. I would love to be the queen of my forever family's castle and I have a lot of love to give!
