Bonjour mes amis! Hello! My name is Francois and I am so happy to meet you!
I am a 2 year old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug) who came to NBS Animal Rescue from Harbor Humane Society on the West side of the state. My owner loved me very much but due to financial reasons, could no longer care for me. The kind folks at NBSAR reached out to help me find a wonderful fur-ever home and I'm now living in an awesome foster home while I search for my fur-ever family - could it be with you???
I'm a sweet and friendly fella who gets along well with most other dogs. I have a foster sister canine and a foster brother canine who I like to play with! I enjoy playing with toys, going for walks, and snuggling on your lap. I can sometimes be a little shy when I first meet someone, but within a few minutes (and a few treats!) I warm right up and follow you where ever you might go. Because I'm only about 13 lbs and can sometimes get scared in loud situations, I would prefer my fur-ever family to have children who were 13+. I love romping in a fenced yard, but I would be happy in a home that did not have a fence provided that my family took me out for long walks a few times a day - I love being outside with my humans!
I'm potty trained, walk pretty nicely on a leash, know how to sit, and I give kisses when I'm comfortable with you! I'm looking for a loving patient home who will spend lots of time with me and enjoy life with me!
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
