Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Titus: 1 Year Old Black Lab Male Mix 50 Pounds
(Lab border collie)
Hello
I am new to lab rescue and think this is the coolest place! People to love and doggies to play with! What more could a boy want? Well, they tell me that there are these things called families, that give will give me a nice stable home! I sure am hoping for one of those. I was found as a stray wandering the streets of Madera (near Fresno) and was brought into the shelter. Nobody came looking for me and well….in a central valley shelter, that’s not a good thing. Lab rescue was called and they saw what a sweet boy I was. I was able to hitch a ride up to the Bay Area where I have been neutered (ruh roh!) and I will soon be in a foster family. I am a young boy and no one ever spent much time training me. I will need a family to show me commands and give me strong leadership so I can be a good K9 citizen. I get along great with other dogs and think they are fun to run and play with. I am unknown with cats for right now, but since I am a young boy, I may be ok with a dog savvy cat. I think the car is a super fun place and love to look out the window and then find a cozy spot to rest my head while you drive. I saw a swimming pool and wasn’t too sure what to do with it. Other dogs were jumping in and looked like they were having fun. Since it seems no one has worked with me before, I will also need some work on my leash manners. A correction collar should help me learn to stay by your side. I am an active boy since I am young, but I am also very mellow and sweet when the time calls for it. The lady who took me to the vet said she even thought I would make a great “therapy dog”. I say that I will be whoever you need me to be as long as I am given exercise and leadership! Are you looking for a guy like me? I would love to meet you! I am HW negative, current on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. I am located in San Jose. Titus will be moved from boarding to a foster home in San Jose who has other dogs.
