Casey's Story...
Casey has found his forever family in Uxbridge, Ontario.

Hello, my name is Casey.

I was a stray when the shelter found me. I am an active boy, about 4 to 5 years old, heartworm negative, recently neutered, and microchipped. They think I am a pure Chow. My foster mom thinks my great looks are only topped by my amazing personality. I am working to overcome my fear of being restrained. The rest of me is pure perfection. I am good with dogs of both sexes, cats, and children (7 years or older). When another dog barks or gets mean with me, I prefer to just walk away. I'm a lover - not a fighter. I enjoy playing with friendly dogs, and will share my food. On walks, I do not pull on the lead. I will respect your house by only pottying outside, not getting on your furniture, and not chewing inappropriately. I ride quietly in the car. I love spending quality time with my human, and belly rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Tillsonburg Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Tillsonburg, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Tillsonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillsonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillsonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillsonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
