My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Chewy was found a little over a week ago in the Bronx tied to a pole with a wire. A good friend of ours found him trying to free himself by chewing on the wire and she was so kind to take him home. Poor Chewy was shivering from the cold, he was thirsty and hungry too. He's currently in a great foster home and we are looking to help Chewy find that perfect forever home.

Our vet estimates that Chewy is a 4 ½ Yr old mixed Terrier/Poodle. Weighing in 11 lbs he needs to gain a few more pounds. He’s is the sweetest dog, almost angelic, pretty much an ideal dog anyone would be lucky to have, no exaggerations. He is so well behaved, 100% housebroken and he loves other dogs. Chewy is also a great companion who loves to cuddle, greet everyone and loves to go out for a walks/runs. He’s also very smart as he already knows a few commands but could use a bit more training to help him with his manners when he gets overly excited.
