Jingles's Story...
Name: Jingles
Color: Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
This handsome boy is Jingles and he is looking for his loving forever home.
Big fan of: He is very sweet and gentle so he'd like nothing better than to find a nice lap to call his own. Jingles would also really enjoy having a nice perch from which he can watch the world go by.
Not a fan of: Jingles’ last home had other cats that he didn't get along with so he would really like to be the only cat in his new home. Jingles would also prefer a home without any dogs because they would likely overwhelm his timid nature.
Special features: He is fairly shy at first but with a little bit of patience he comes out of his shell.
Dream Home: In the past, he lived with children and would be happy if his new home had older children who know how to be gentle and patient with him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jingles, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
