Cooper is a big boy weighing in at 70 pounds of solid love. He is not over weight, but in great shape. Cooper came to us from North Carolina where he was a rambling boy on the loose. Being without a family to care for him left Cooper exposed and he came to us heartworm positive. Cooper was transported to IL to his foster home where he has been successfully treated for heart worms, neutered and fully vaccinated. He is healthy, smart, good looking and ready for his forever family!
Cooper is a beautiful blue merle with the original blue merle working boy lines. He has stunning eyes, one 1/2 brown 1/2 blue, the other with blue dots. He is 3 years young and has learned to live the good life with his loving foster family.
Living indoors was all new for Cooper but he caught on very fast. Potty training went quickly as he loves the outdoors, but he prefers company while he is out until he feels secure.
With some time and treats, he has learned all the basic commands. He is gentle while taking treats and is not aggressive with food. Cooper would be a great house protector as he has a big manly bark to keep you safe.
At the same time, Cooper will “purr” when he is happy to see you! He is a typical velcro Aussie who is very owner attentive and loves a good snuggle. He is not demanding about play time and calm indoors. He walks well on a leash and has learned basic commands.
Cooper is UTD with all of his shots, he is heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative and is on Frontline. He weighs 70 pounds and is a large Aussie, good with dogs and children over 10. He is 3 years old and being fostered near Chicago.
