My name is Foxy and despite the fact that my family could not keep Jake and me because they felt that they no longer had the time to devote to us, I am a very happy and loving dog. You know, older dogs like me can be just as cute and lovable as puppies, and often come with wonderful qualities that puppies take years to grow into. I know that I am older and my time here will be shorter than a puppy. But, all the more reason to make every single day special. My eyes shine and my little tail wags a mile a minute when I see a leash, my passion is going for long walks. I also enjoy a good snooze during the day. Jake and I love each other but we know that we may not be able to spend the remainder of our lives together – I just want him to be happy. With me there will be no surprises – what you see is what you get. I promise that if you meet me and Jake you won’t be disappointed. I have such a calm, easy-going temperament that you may even overlook the fact that I am seven. So, if you are looking for a friend, I could sure use one (and so could Jake).
