My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a laid back male about 3 years of age.Dakota is neutered, up to date, and on preventatives. He rides quietly in the car. His coat was shaved but is growing back quickly. Dakota's adoptive family backed out of adopting him so he is waiting in foster care for the family he deserves..

The beauty of a Great Pyrenees can take your breath away, but they are unique dogs which require dedicated owners who have thoroughly researched the traits of the breed. Feel free to visit our website at www.nepyresq.org for information to start your journey!

Great Pyrenees are known for their barking as they were bred to be Livestock Guardians. HOWEVER, a dog not raised around farm animals does not automatically become an Livestock Guardian. They are trained from birth to do that job. If you need a working dog you should contact a reputable breeder for a trained dog. Find breeders at Great Pyrenees Club of America www.gpcaonline.org
