This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the North Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Brownie
GENDER: Male (Neutered)
AGE: About 15 weeks
WEIGHT: About 6 lbs (maximum weight should be less than 12 lbs)

Meet one of our special CRT puppies: Brownie. Brownie is is primarily brown with white highlights. He is fully vetted and looking for a forever home.
Brownie is one of four abandon puppies that CRT rescued. On February 25th, we received an email from a good Samaritan about four newborn chi mix pups that were found abandoned at a commercial building behind an air conditioner unit. The owner was making the rounds checking his property because of recent copper thieves making off with his property. These pups were found in an area that no human could have gotten to without the proper keys. The property owner reported that a homeless man that he had seen with a chi mix may have the momma dog. But no mother dog was found or seen anywhere near them. One puppy was a female and the other 3 are males.
These pups were extremely lucky to be alive. We CRT took them in, they were only a few days old. They were malnourished, filthy, and two of the little boys (Brownie and Blackie) were struggling and had to be kept alive by being tube fed for the first week. The great staff at Parker Animal and Bird Clinic in Plano helped care for them and nurse them for CRT. Soon all four got healthy, and began to thrive. They are now all fun puppies with all the vet work completed, and are ready for adoptions!
Brownie is an amazing success story. When we first rescued him, he was in bad shape and had to be tube fed the first three weeks of his life. Finally, his foster Mom was able to get him on a bottle, and is now totally healthy. This little guy is the smallest of the puppies at 6 pounds. But he has a huge heart. He is a big lover.
Brownie loves to play. He loves his other dog siblings, and even lives with a 120 pound dog. Brownie get alone with him great - even sleeping on top of him and grabbing the end of his tail for a ride!! It is so adorable. Brownie also loves his toys. This little guy is so happy and playful.
At the end of his playing, Brownie wants to be on your lap cuddling. Brownie is a big time lap dog! He loves getting on the couch next to you, or just sleeping in your lap as you watch TV. He has a great personality and will steal your heart.
Brownie is great with other dogs. He is playful and loves going outdoors to explore. Brownie is Pee Pee Pad trained and almost finished potty training. He is a smart little guy that will catch on to your household routines quickly.
Brownie will be great with people of all ages, including children. If you enjoy cuddling and love, this is the little guy for you!
Brownie is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $225 adoption fee is required.
