Officially Labeled as The Perfect Dog by her foster family … they have fostered quite a few doggies so they know it when they see it!
Lucy is trained and knows all of her basic commands; she is clean in the home and settles down in her crate with no issues… if fact she will go in there on her own to sleep after some fun in the sun!
She can be a little shy when meeting new people so potential families have to keep this in mind when they go to meet her. Be slow and loving with some good tasty treats in hand should do the trick. She adjusts well though in a short period of time to new people and places as long as you give her a little time.
Lucy loves her walks and to be with you doing whatever you are doing! Are you gardening this weekend? Great because Lucy has a green thumb!! Taking a drive up to the chalet? Awesome because Lucy loves the car. Tired at the end of the day and just want to flake on the couch and watch TV? Perfect because Lucy loves to chill!
So far in foster care Lucy is pretty laid back and calm. She would make a wonderful best friend to anyone. Lucy spent over 30 days at the pound waiting for rescue to come along – that is a really long time to be caged up day in and day out although from the moment she was rescued she has been nothing but a happy darling.
