Dorothy's Story...
Meet Dorothy! Dorothy has had a pretty tough start to her life. She was born in a garage back in July of 2012 along with her 5 other siblings. They we never socialized by the people who cared for them, so they are very skiddish. All her Siblings except Anna and her have been adopted. Dorothy just needs someone to show her that she's safe. She needs someone to break her out of her safe shell. They have come a long was form when we first got them, but they still need work. Dorothy is a 1 1/2 year old diluted calico. Her adoption fee is $25.00, which does include up-to-date rabies shot, distemper shots, and her spay! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dorothy, a Chisholm Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chisholm, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chisholm.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chisholm already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chisholm breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chisholm paves the way for another one to be saved.
