My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING—“Taylor” is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to Enzo's Acres Rescue to help with adoption. Please contact the organization directly if you are interested in meeting or adopting him/her.

Taylor is a sweet and active boy who is looking for a workout buddy! He is about 2 years old. His favorite activities include running, biking, and hiking. He can do 4 miles no problem, either outside or on a treadmill. He truly craves exploration and new experiences. Do you have a car, or better yet, a boat? Taylor loves them both and will be your first mate on all your future adventures together!

Due to unemployment, he was surrendered by his family to Enzo’s Acres, but you won’t find him moping around, no way! Taylor is too busy being an ambassador for his breed, and loves to get out into the community and meet other dogs and people. He has no leash reactivity issues and is not shy about saying hello. He deals with busy areas very well. You can direct him to lay down and stay, and he will until you tell him you’re ready to go!

Taylor is a smart boy who knows his sit, down, stay, and leave it very well. He is working on communicating with other dogs and knowing when to respect their boundaries when they are done playing. He is also learning to control his excitement and resist the urge to pull. With the proper amount of exercise, Taylor’s manners continue to get better each day!

Taylor’s ideal forever home can include other dogs and older children (age 8 and up) who know how to communicate with him, but he should not live in a home with cats. Taylor will need slow introductions with other dogs, especially at dog parks and other places where dogs are off-leash. A fur sibling in his forever home will definitely help Taylor learn cues from other dogs! Taylor also requires a special diet of grain-free food and treats due to his allergies.

Adoption fee: $150

Please contact Dawn at Enzo's Acres (503) 577-0517 to get more info on Taylor.
