Biscuit was pulled from a county shelter as a small puppy just barely old enough to leave her mommy. She was just a fluff of fur and we really had no idea of her breed.
We taught her potty training using the doggy door, crate training, vaccinated and had her spay at approximately 6 months, She was adopted but then returned to us recently due to a change in family situation. We could hardly believe what a beautiful young girl she had turned out to be!
No longer was she just a ball of black fluff, but a gorgeous young lady with soft flowing hair.
Biscuit's first adopter did a great job with her. I was very pleased how well trained she was and how she responded to commands. She will only get better with a patient and loving new family.
Biscuit needs a women only household. She has a great fear of men. She's been this way since she was a wee pup and we don't know or understand why. She was never abused by a man. Our only thinking is that she grew up with only a woman in the house and just didn't have a lot of interaction with men.
Biscuit would make a great companion for a woman with no children in the home.
Biscuit gets along with other dogs and is always ready to play and explore. She LOVES to play ball! She has a bit of a resource guarding issue regarding food around the other dogs. Since she always eats in her crate, its not an issue here but she does growl if another dog walks past her while eating.
