My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a sweet purr-box! Tonya is gentle, sweet, kind and happy, though who knows why her owner turned her over to a high - kill rural NC shelter. The shelter staff loved her so much they would not give up on saving her, and finally several rescue agencies banded together and she was transported to Cat Rescue. Tonya tested positive for the feline FIV virus or feline AIDS, which no longer means a death sentence now that more is known about it. There's no medicine, just the normal quality food and vet visits that every pet should have. With an abundance of caution, we want Tonya to be an only kitty, and with her sweet, calm nature, she'd be perfect for an older person who wants a loyal, loving companion.
