My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Terry the Terrier! This cutie is looking for someone to give his heart and soul to. He will follow you everywhere and loves to be in your lap. He will give kisses by the dozens if you let him. He was found with a leash on, but no owner was found, and no one came to claim him at the shelter. Can’t understand why—he is housetrained, gets along with other dogs and cats, and knows his basic commands. He also likes kids, although young kids are overwhelming to him. He is a bit wary of strangers, but warms up quickly. A fenced yard is preferred for Terry, but a commitment to outside time and walking on a leash is OK as well. He is about a year old, 12 lbs, is up-to-date on shots, and will be neutered. Really, Terry is adorable and sweet, and is ready to find his forever person or family! Apply soon if you are interested—we don’t think he will last long!

This dog’s adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
