Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ASRM 0206 Happy, what a great way to describe this beautiful blue merle Aussie boy. He is 56 pounds of love and energy. Happy has crystal blue eyes that will mesmerize you into letting him climb on your lap or just snuggle for hours on end. He is very much the Velcro Aussie this breed is so known for. He would love to be the center of your world. At 2 years old, he is just a teenager at heart and needs the same guidance and rules you would apply to your own children. Happy needs parents that want to help him learn the rules of the road. He knows all of the basics that any well mannered house dog should learn but a bit more guidance is needed to prevent this boy from becoming an unruly citizen. Happy has had some clicker training with positive reinforcement and it has been successful, now he needs a constant in his life to continue his education. He has been practicing walking with a Halti harness to learn not to pull and is making positive progress.
Happy wants nothing more than to please and is a quick learner. He would love to live in an active home that would include him in their daily schedule. A game of tug, Frisbee, or catch is just what he dreams of. Happy needs to be a little more socialized, because of this he may give the impression that he is a tough guy when he meets other dogs; when in reality he is intimidated by them. He needs slow and careful introduction when meeting other canine friends. We recommend Happy be an only child.
Happy is UTD on all his shots and has tested heartworm negative. Happy is micro chipped and is on heartworm preventative and Frontline. Happy cannot live in a home with cats/dogs or children under 10. He is a high energy Aussie best suited to be an only dog. Happy is in need of a home willing to take him to obedience classes. Happy is located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. If Happy is the man for you fill out our adoption application so you can arrange to meet him (“”)(“”)
