Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Chance because I've been given a second one. FOR found me at a shelter with no chance of being adopted. I was classified as a "severe neglect case" because I was one of the skinniest dogs they'd ever seen, had lost almost all my hair and had infections in both my ears. Fortunately, with a little TLC from my foster parents I've bounced back in a few short months. They say looking at me now you'd have no idea what I've been through (see my before picture!) . I love all people and playing with other dogs. I'm so happy to be feeling better that I smile almost all the time. I'm house trained and am learning basic commands and to walk well on a leash. Eating and snuggling are two of my favorite pastimes. They think I'm under 2 years old and a hound mix. I weigh 55 lbs right now but will most likely fill out to around 60. I would do best in a house with a yard and parents who were dedicated to helping me get my exercise and teaching me all the things a great dog should know. They say rescue dogs make the best pets because they are so grateful and that's certainly the case for me. I'm fostered in Huntsville, AL. You can visit me by emailing info@FORrescue.net. And you can hurry things up by completing an application at http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. I'll tell you more about myself when I meet you!
