Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings all! Dakota Blue at your service. I am a ten-year-old, 56-pound male, who suffered abuse in my puppyhood. I was tied to a tree, starved and hit with sticks and a bat until a compassionate gentleman rescued me and took me into his home. Now I'm feeling as blue as my name, because this lovely man became very ill and recently passed away. My gentleman raised me well and now I feel all alone. I am having trouble trying to get settled and learning to be without a forever human right now. I would really like my human to be looking for a companion to spend lots of time with and where we will be the center of each others world. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy. A few tennis balls (yellow only, please) and a new owner to rub my belly would have this blue boy back in the pink in no time. I am getting on a little myself and don't see as well as I use to, and like most seniors a few aches and pains here and there, but I am still ready to chase those tennis balls. Do you hold my rosy future in your hands? Waiting to love you, DB
