My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coconut is a 5 year old, 60 lb., beautiful chocolate purebred Lab. She has a rich dark chocolate coat that shines in the sun and a sparkle in her eyes. She loves the companionship of people and likes being by someone's side. Coconut loves life, is a happy girl and is as sweet as they come. She does well with other dogs and enjoys doing all those doggy things, but can be the alpha girl. Coconut would need a firm handler with good leadership to give proper correction when needed. She does correct very easily and is a good girl. Coconut loves going for walks and does pretty well on a leash. She is strong though and can pull if something catches her attention. She would make a good running and hiking partner for the more active person. Coconut loves the good girl treats she gets and particularly likes the compressed rawhide bones or the rubber kong filled with peanut butter. It would be best if she were to have a home without cats. Coconut has been spayed, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. She has been kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative and is crate trained.
