Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Odie (formerly Victor) is the cutest, sweetest dog ever! Poor Odie was the victim of blunt force trauma which broke his jaw and some of his teeth. This is on top of already having brachycephalic syndrome, which affects his breathing. Odie will need to have two to three surgeries to fix any correctable defects and to remove the broken teeth. So Odie needs some generous loving people to sponsor him! And of course, he needs a forever home, too!
His foster mom tells us he is an absolute doll who loves to cuddle and thinks he is a lap dog. Because of his injuries and the brachycephalic syndrome, he has difficulty breathing in hot and humid weather, and cannot play too hard or long. He wants so much to play with the other dogs, but he does not always have the energy to do so. We are hoping that surgery will ease his breathing and prevent future complications.
Odie gets along well with kids and with other dogs. He is not kenneled and does fine while his foster family is gone. He also rides well in the car, and loves to go along.
Check out how playful and loving he is in his video. More on his progress as we help him along, but in the meantime, please consider making a donation if you are not able to adopt him at www. k9kindnessrescue.org or email Debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org.
Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
For more information about Odie, email Debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out an online application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.
Odie and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for a new family companion!
