Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for an exuberant playmate for your current little dog? If so, 6 pound Gizmo is your guy!
At 16 months he is lively, bouncy, spunky little puppy. Due to poor breeding intended to “miniaturize” the Shih Tzu conformation, Gizmo had a couple health issues that needed to be corrected through surgery. The surgery was successful, and he is awaiting a final blood test to show he is totally healthy and ready to lead a normal life without any special food or medications!
Gizmo is looking for a forever home with another small dog to play with, and would benefit from a puppy class and additional puppy training. He does tend to bark at new noises, dogs and people due to a cautious uncertainty of who or what they are. His playthings?....Little balls, small plush toys with legs, an empty box, paper, Kleenex, and even an occasional sock or shoe! His special treats?...Apples, pears, bananas, and watermelon! He will want to nestle with you in bed or wherever you happen to be sitting. He also loves a cuddly dog bed…preferably with another dog in it! He is sweet, gentle and gives lots and lots of kisses. Gizmo will need to remain on a disciplined routine of house training to ensure continuity and 100% success. He will not do well in a home with small children due to his size and his adverse reactions to noise and quick movements.
Gizmo’s adoption fee is $370.00 plus sales tax. His foster mom will adopt him within one hour driving distance of Bloomington, and asks that the new home return to our STRMN Rescue Reunion each year in June. He is a special, special boy she wants to keep in touch with!
