My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsie was recently returned to us. She was adopted in November 2009. The family was moving and felt it was best for her to come back to us. No negative comments or they will be deleted. We require all of our animals to be returned to us no matter the circumstance and we do not judge.

Elsie is a 7 year old pit bull but still full of life. She is 62 lbs but on a diet. She is heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. She had a negative urinalysis and negative fecal. She had a good exam. She is up to date on shots, flea and heartworm prevention. She lived with a cat so she's good with cats. She's great with other dogs but plays rough so she can scare some. She's had one of our little dogs attack her and she just looks the other way. She has no aggression in her. She never meets a stranger. She loves to play. She doesn't like being outside long at all. She is not destructive when left loose. She is fine being crated. She is crate trained and house trained. Elsie was rescued in the winter of 2008 starving with six puppies. She developed bad case of mastitis. We also treated her for heartworms. Adoption fee for Elsie is $100. If you are interested in Elsie, email animalhelperneworleans@gmail.com for an application.
