MIDNIGHT's Story...
Midnight is a 7 week old puppy weighing who is 4 pounds, 8 oz. big on June 14th. She was born in our care on May 3rd. Her mom is on our website, her name is Shadow. We do not know who the father was. Midnight has a white streak going down her muzzle and her two back paws are partially white. This sweet puppy enjoyed exploring her surroundings. She sleeps very well in her crate. We are introducing her to potty time outdoors. For such a young puppy she does her business outdoors or on a training pad. We are so proud of her and happy she does not have accidents all over the home. Midnight likes to play outside for a bit and she loves running around and rolling in the grass. She loves jumping on all the leaves, I think she likes the sound they make. She enjoys playing with her toys as well. She sure enjoys cuddle time too. She will often fall asleep in our laps after playing. She is a wonderful puppy! Here is another video, you can copy and paste this link:

UPDATE: Today Midnight enjoyed exploring her surroundings. She became more comfortable in the home and enjoyed playing with visitors. She is very playful and at other times very affectionate. She always enjoys a good cuddle. She continues to go to the bathroom outside or on a training pad. Very few accidents so far. After playing she enjoys a nice nap.

UPDATE: Midnight is doing great! She is left alone for a few hours. When alone, she does wonderfully. I come home and she has no accidents in the crate. Today, the afternoon, she enjoyed playing with some children (all different age groups) She was very gentle with the younger children and the baby who enjoyed petting her. She is such a sweet, and well behaved puppy always listening to me when I talk to her. As she gets older, and gets more freedom, she has to be corrected a couple of times, she is now starting to understand the word 'no' and listens when I tell her to stop doing something. She always looks to please us. She is a wonderful puppy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIDNIGHT, a West Milford Dachshund/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
