Meet Spike! Spike was an owner surrender when his owner, who had moved to a nursing home with him, could no longer take him out for walks. We can tell you this for certain, the most important thing to Spike is a warm, comfy lap! That and all the love and attention you can give! He is sweet, loving and gets along very well with the other doxies in his foster home. Spike's eye ducts do not produce tears any longer so they require a simple tending to 2 to 3 times a day with a gentle cleaning, then eye drops and lastly an ointment applied for protection, all of which he tolerates with dignity and takes very little time to administer. We believe he would be happy as the only dog or in a home with another female doxie. Spike's adoption fee is $150.00. Please email skywaydachshund@gmail.com to ask for an Adoption Application.
