Meet Gracie, a four-year old, medium-sized dog who is active and friendly and will bring smiles to your face. She is an amazingly fast runner, loves to go on long hikes or runs with her humans, will never have trouble keeping up with an active family because she has plenty of energy and likes to have fun. Gracie came from a difficult situation where she was not appreciated or cared for. Now she needs that “second chance” for a brighter future. She is completely housebroken and crate trained, does best on walks with a harness since she is a strong, muscular dog and very curious about her surroundings. She would do best in a home where there are older children and other dogs. She never tires of playing with her canine companions in her foster home. If you are looking for an active, medium-sized dog, about 40 pounds, who responds well to humans and wants to be a faithful companion, look no further. Gracie may be just the one for you.

About Furry Friends Network - Dog Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Friends Network is a non profit, all-volunteer animal adoption organization. Our philosophy is to help those animals that did not ask to be born, that are often the result of human ignorance. Any animal, no matter its age, can offer love and companionship to the right person.

Furry Friends Network is not a shelter, but instead uses a foster home network to house the animals until permanent, indoor homes can be found, offering second chances at lifetimes of love and happiness.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Meet some of our adoptable cats and dogs at our monthly adoption days. Please note, only pre-scheduled adoptions for approved applicants are performed at our monthly Adoption Days, Furry Friends Network Adoption Day Calendar. Convenient times can be scheduled to meet all others once your application has been processed.

Our Adoption Process...

Furry Friends Network's adoption process consists of four steps:

1. Complete and return an adoption application. Our volunteers then review the application and contact you. Mail "printable" adoption applications to:

Furry Friends Network
Adoption Applications
P.O. Box 519
Boiling Springs, PA 17007

2. The application process consists of contacting your personal and veterinarian references, contacting your landlord (as applicable), a personal interview and a home visit. The process will take approximately 2 weeks.

3. If your application is approved, a meet-n-greet with the animal and his/her foster family will be set up.

4. Finally, if it is a good match for both the animal and the applicant, a contract is signed and the animal officially has a new home.

If you have any questions or have trouble with the online application, please email us at ffnapplication@gmail.com.

Our online dog adoption application is available on our web site, Online Dog Adoption Application.

Our printable dog adoption application is available on our web site, Printable Dog Adoption Application.
