Hi there. My name is Rose. I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Lisbon area almost a month ago. I was very nice and she wanted to keep me but her small dogs were afraid of me and I wasn't completely house trained so she ended up putting me outside. I was very unhappy so she brought me in to the pound where I can find a new home.
I am a very sweet and loving girl. I LOVE people. I am very loving. I like being walked and loved on. I get along great with the other dogs. I am very good and playful with the other dogs.
I am totally beautiful and I have the most adorable little stubby tail. It wiggles very fast when I am excited! The girls here a the pound just love it.
I am very scared here at the pound, but I am coming out of my shell more and more every day.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 13, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO. I WILL BE GOING TO THE PITTSBURGH VET TECH INSTITUTE 6/19/14 TO BE SPAYED AND GET MY RABIES VACCINE. I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP UNTIL 12 PM 6/27/14 AS THAT IS THE DAY I WILL RETURN FROM BEING SPAYED. I CAN BE ADOPTED PRIOR TO THIS, I JUST CANNOT LEAVE THE SHELTER YET.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
