Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dallas: 1-3 Year Old Black Lab Neutered Male 60 Pounds
Dallas came to Lab Rescue as a stray from Ukiah. The person who runs the Ukiah shelter emailed the rep she works with to see if Lab Rescue would have room for him as he was such a wonderful boy. GGLRR took Dallas into their program and they could not agree more. GGLRR is amazed that someone is not looking for this wonderful boy. He is a very happy boy and excited to see you and is very happy to be doing just about anything with his humans or his dog friends. Dallas is located in Danville. It seems like someone has spent some time with him as it seems like he has been socialized with humans and dogs. He does have a lot of energy so he should go to a home that can get him out each day for regular exercise and a home that will continue his training and a home that will be a leader for him. He does know sit and he is very gentle with taking treats. He will walk well on a correction collar and he loves to play ball. Dallas has a very sensitive side to him and when you ask him to do things he will listen but he can get distracted at times. He rides well in the car and seems to not have any possessive issues with his toys or his food. He has been very clean in his kennel. He has been recently neutered, has all his shots, heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
If you are interested in this high energy beautiful boy, call Rescue Rep Liz 415-613-6374.
(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
