Hi, My name is Hazel and I come from a scary shelter in southern Illinois where I was found as a stray. It was cold and dark and very loud there but I was rescued by CDR and now I'm looking for my own special, furever home. I currently weigh about 48 pounds. I love to play with kids and other dogs and I really like cats! Go figure! I can also entertain myself with toys and tennis balls which is an important skill to have. I am crate trained, housebroken and walk perfectly on a leash. Some have even called me a dream dog! I am known to be a gentle soul who will curl up on the bed or couch with you at the end of a long day. I am also a very versatile dog-I am happy to be with people of all ages, other dogs and cats or just by myself. Come meet me at the next adoption event and BE PREPARED!
