Faith is a sweet, loving 1-1/2 year old Red-Nosed Pit Bull Mix Girl. She came to us from a young family who adopted her as a sickly parvo pup from a backyard breeder, nursed her back to health and strength, only to have to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome her after they had a new baby & the husband, a U.S. Marine, got deployed to Afghanistan. She is currently is a foster home with 7 other dogs.
Her foster Dad reports that Faith is very nearly the “perfect” dog. She is sweet, loving, and she LOVES other dogs, so Faith will preferably need to go to a multi-dog home. She loves to play & wrestle with her foster siblings, but she always seems to know when to “turn it off” if things get a little too crazy. And, she is very respectful of other dogs – if one has had too much playtime, she always seems to know when to let up & “give it a rest”. And, while at rest, she seems to have this calming effect on the rest of her foster pack.
With people, Faith is a little shy at first, but will warm up to any one who shows her some love & kindness, after which she is a loyal, devoted, loving companion. She likes to snuggle with her humans, but not too much. And, she gives sweet, gentle kisses to her people, but does not get carried away with it. She is housebroken, crate-trained (she willingly goes into her crate on the command, “box”) and, of course, spayed, microchipped & up-to-date on all her shots.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
