Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My story and my history is unknown which makes the volunteers at CAA Rescue really sad, all they know is that on May 30th I was found as a stray in a park and picked up by the local pound… I was held for 5 days where no one claimed me. CAA volunteers finally found me a kind foster home that would take me out of a cage and put me in a home where I can wait for my true forever family to find me
I am really happy about this because now I have a friend to play, my foster bro is also around 10 years old and we get along just fine but true to my breed I cannot be in homes with cats!! Young pups who are too excited and only want to play are too much for me to handle now and while I do like being around them I just don’t have the energy to keep up any more
I really do like my walks a lot and have to stop at every blade of grass to smell, volunteers at CAA laughed so much on the day they rescued me it was like I did not want to miss one smell or one passing odor in my new found freedom!! I treasured every last moment just in case they would put me back in a cage again, see I really had no idea what was happening on the day the volunteers showed up to release me from the pound but they seemed like such nice ladies I trusted them completely. I sat on a volunteers lap the whole drive to my foster home just soaking in the love and hoping it would never end. Then when I got there they put me in the tub to wash away the pound stinkies (and boy-oh-boy was I stinky!!!) and I trusted them again and let them wash me all over including my face and chin and ears… it felt so good and I loved it so much that I hoped it would never end. Then we went out into the sun and for a walk and it felt so great to be out and free and clean … I just hoped it would never end!!! & then they gave me awesome food I ate like I had never eaten before and boy-oh-boy I wished that bowl of food would never end!! Then another walk down to the village where I met many people and other doggies… everyone loved me and was petting me it was so amazing I wished that it never would end.
To top the whole day off a bed – a real doggie bed, soft and comfortable and warm and I slept and slept and slept and wished it would never end!
and then a whole new day!!! & I guess you have already figured out that I wished that would never end either and every day is a new day for me and I am just so very happy!
I like to be with people doing whatever you are doing, due to my age I think I would be happier in a quiet home so no homes with children under the age of 14.
I have wished a lot during my time in foster care and I am still waiting for my one true wish to come true: a family of my very own who will love me for the next 6 to 8 years of my life. I may be 10 but I have a great energy level and for those that love the Jack Russell will love me too because I am much calmer than a younger dog. I settle down well when you want to relax and I am ready to go anywhere with you, because I am so friendly we can have so many journey’s together and every single day I know I will wish it will never end. If you would like to have never ending wishes with me please email CAARescue@gmail.com and ask them for an adoption application so we can finally meet!! I have been waiting so very long to find you and I traveled down a long, tired, lonely and very mean road to get to you and I really cannot wait another second to call you my True Forever Family!
