My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. B came to Catisfaction as a typical TNR (trap, neuter, return) case. He was what we sometimes call a stray or community cat; well, not so much for him. Mr. B was feral...he was scared of humans and had grown up on the streets with little human interaction. His caretaker sought assistance from a local rescue agency to have him trapped, neutered and returned back to his territory. She would continue to provide food and water for him.

You know how they say "the best laid plans" ~

Mr. B was trapped and brought in for neutering. He was neutered and upon leaving the clinic, his caretaker dropped the carrier he was in and broke open wide. Mr. B was scared and still shaken from all that happened to him...he ran clear out into the darkness. Traps were laid out for several weeks to no avail. No one ever saw him again...until.

Fast forward almost a year and a half. Who shows up and is looking from the safety of the woods? Mr. B...well I'll be darned. After several weeks of calling to him, feeding him wet food, and allowing him the time and space he needed...he decided humans weren't so bad after all.

Since then, he has been at the clinic acclimating himself to all types of people and other cats. He is doing GREAT!! For a cat as fearful as he was, he is making progress each and every day. He now let's people pick him up and love on him. He plays and interacts. He actually "asks" for attention.

We guesstimate him to be around 2/3 years old. He is still timid and does need a calmer home than one with a toddler or two ; ) He tends to shrink back with sudden movements but once he understands you aren't there to hurt him, he nestles his head into your hand for petting. He is laid back, gentle and kind. After all he has been through, he needs to be an indoor only kitty.

Why not stop by the clinic to meet him...he would love to make a new friend or two. And if you aren't interested in adopting him, maybe you know of someone in your circle of friends and family that might be interested.
