Little Lady

We believe Little Lady is a female Chihuahua/Heeler mix, approximately 1 yr old and weighs 14 lbs.

She is a very sweet, calm girl, a little nervous when she first meets you but opens up quickly. She likes people, other dogs and avoids the cats. She walks well on the leash, but prefers to hang out in you lap. More information will be posted as her foster mom gets to know her better.

Little Lady is looking for a home with adults and older children. She would like to be pampered and loved living in a home or apartment where she will get a couple of walks a day. She is an indoor dog, prefering to be with her people just hanging out.

She is spayed, heartworm negative, on flea and heartworm prevention, vaccinated for rabies, Parvo/Distemper and Bordetella, microchipped.

Her adoption fee is only $75 which allows us to help other animals in need

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Lady, a Weatherford Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
