Looking for a true gem? We’ve got a Ruby who’s looking for a new setting! Ruby is a very well behaved, very pretty, 3 yo fawn mastiff who came to us because she finally nipped a 4 yr old boy who had been torturing her since he could walk (pulling, poking, pinching, ramming).
Ruby is a true treasure, more precious than, well, rubies! She’s looking for a new family now, one without small children. Ruby loves to hang out with her family and do what mastiffs do best: love you! Ruby likes to meet guests and loves to be petted. She has wonderful house manners and greets strangers very nicely. She's a silly girl who will make you laugh with her antics.
Ruby has a sparking personality with depth of character, just like her namesake. Ruby loves to run around the yard and then just lay soak up the sun. If you’ve had big dogs before, she’ll be a breeze to live with—she’s housetrained and quite undemanding on a day to day basis. She’s very concerned with other dogs, so would prefer to be the only dog. She’s a homebody who prefers to be home with her family rather than out gallivanting around.
Ruby needs a home with children over 14. She’s had sleepovers with a cat when she was younger, so we suspect she’ll be fine with cats. She needs a home who can appreciate her beauty while respecting her limitations (no kids, no dogs). Ruby’s personality is the real gem though, it shines with love and affection for her family and friends!
