Shoogs's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shoogs's Story...
Shoogs recently transferred to us from County, where they called her a St Bernard/German Shepherd mix. But we've seen that piebald caramel and cream coloring and those raccoon eyes before, so we're confident that she's an Anatolian Shepherd mix. Lucky for Shoogs, she was mixed with a shorthaired breed and doesn’t have an Anatolian’s thick double coat.

This 4 year old is a nice, family dog who loves attention and does great on her leash. Shoogs loves dogs and people, and she has even given hugs to our volunteers!

Shoogs is a quiet, inquisitive gal who would learn quickly in obedience training. As with other Anatolians, Shoogs will prefer regular exercise and space to run – in return, she’ll be a welcome companion who will always watch out for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shoogs, a Gilbert Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
