My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****This is a courtesy post-- please contact OJ if interested at (916) 412-6672****

Casey has been living in our garage after her “Daddy” died suddenly from an in a home accident between Christmas and New Year’s, 2012. He also had a small dog and they got along fine but the person who took the dog did not want Casey. She was not in the house when he died, so overnight she lost everything she knew and loved.

We have been trying to place her but it is difficult because Casey is a real Alpha female - she HATES other cats and becomes violent around them!!!!
She ONLY LOVES people, adults and children!!! PERIOD!!!!

We have tried working with Casey using our brood of 6 cats, but to no avail. When the weather will not permit Casey being in the garage or outside, we bring her into our home office. If we let her walk through the house, she will attack them. Now we are carrying her, however, as soon as she sees another cat she growls, snarls, and spits, but she never hurts us.

Casey is very sweet and friendly. She talks - often has a lot to say, rubs against you, LOVES to be petted and brushed, follows you everywhere, is an inside/outside girl – but prefers inside. When we have one-on-one time in the bedroom she will come up on the bed, joins my husband on the patio for “Cocktail Hour” and has gotten on his lap to be petted. She has never destroyed ANYTHING, gotten into anything, or soiled anything!! She always uses her litter box and is just so very thankful for everything you do for her.

Casey just wants to be your friend and companion, and to be the Queen of her own home once again. Unfortunately, this is not something we are able offer her. However, she IS deserving of that and will show her thanks to whoever gives it.

Casey vitals:
· 5 year old female
· Spayed
· Weighs 15 pounds - According to our Vet - not overweight – just a BIG GIRL
· FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline AIDs) FREE!!! (NEGATIVE)
· Has had all her shots
· Missing one of her fangs (upper left)
· Slight crackling sound in lungs as owner was heavy smoker – Vet says not an issue
· Is INDOOR/OUTDOOR, but prefers indoor with her people
