Lilly's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lilly's Story...
Pretty little Lilly was lost, starved , eaten alive with fleas and hairless when a kind and wonderful woman stopped her car and picked her up.

All her vet work is now done and Lilly is happy and beginning to feel like the perky Jack Russell that she is. You cannot see it in the picture but, she has a perfect little tail dock.

The vet estimated her age to be around 7-8 years old.

Her foster mom, Marian, says that Lilly is very well behaved and house trained. Like most JRTs, Lilly loves to follow Marian around and just be near her.
No cats. No kids. No female dogs.
What a lovely and wonderful little companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
