Candy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Candy's Story...
Candy came to us as an owner surrender due to the husband's allergies. She is 6 1/2 months old and tends to bond more easily females over males making us believe she may have been abused by a male. But she has warmed up nicely to her foster dad. If you are looking for a lap dog she is the one for you. Ideally she needs to adopted by someone who is home most of the time as she some separation anxiety and with older children due to her size. She is in Foster Care in Walton Co near Monroe so if you are interested in meeting her please keep that in mind as her foster mom can't drive far for a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Lawrenceville Chihuahua/Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug puppy from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
