Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let's give this gentleman a chance to retire in comfort!! Surrendered to hi-volume shelter, when owner became very ill. Rescued to foster home. Used to being a companion, house dog, and hunting partner (now retired). Seeks simple pleasures: hanging out at home/padding around the property,with other senior dogs and his humans (but no cats!). House-trained (and uses dog door). Sweet, silly, gentle Boy. Some neuro/ortho issues, per his age and years of hard hunting. And, vision and hearing aren't what they used to be - so needs some common sense safeguards. UPDATE: Carson had an emergency surgery and is recovering well. We are looking for a home that will make him part of the household, and will continue to care for him as he deserves.
