My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Tilly! I am an 8 year old, brindle and white English bulldog... but my foster mom says I am part goat, or bully-goat, because I eat like a goat and I love climbing and leaping about on the furniture. Like I said, they say I am 8, but aside from a few wrinkles and a little grey here and there, you wouldn’t guess I was an older girl. In fact, I still bound up and down stairs like a puppy, and one of my favorite things to do is play and wrestle around with my little sister Abbie until I wear her out!

I am a pretty fit little bully if I say so myself… at 49 pounds, I get around very well! I had Entropian surgery but I still need my eyes cleaned out and drops put in pretty regularly; I usually only need someone to wash them out when I wake up and right before bed so it’s not that bad. Other than that, I am a healthy, active bulldog who loves nothing more than to lie on your lap for a little while each day and take the occasional walk around the block!

Abbie and I are a package deal - we have been together since she was a puppy. She is my best friend and I am very protective of her. Sometimes when other dogs try to play with her, I get a little too protective and I may get a little snappy. For that reason, I think we should stay as only dogs. They seem to do well with children, especially 10+ years old.

Abbie and Tilly will need to go to a home with no other dogs. They are both spayed, up-to-date on shots and housetrained. Please consider opening up your heart and giving these sweet girls their loving furever home!

Adoption donation for Abbie and Tillie is $500.

Please note: We will not ship our dogs. Adopters must live in or within 2 hours of Ohio. All of our dogs are kept in private foster homes and for the privacy of our foster families, we do not allow meet and greets until the potential adopter's application has been approved. To fill out an application to adopt, please visit our website at www.buckeyebulldogrescue.org. Once the application is received, we will conduct a home visit and a vet check.
