Hello my name is Chet. I am looking for my perfect family. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I'm approx 4 yr old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever. In early May, I was waiting on Death Row in Ripley, TN when this nice woman came in and seen me covered in ticks. She couldn't take me back to St. Louis that day but she promised she would be back to save me. And a week later, she was back for me, literally the day before my time was suppose to be up.
Once I was in St. Louis, I went to the Vet to get checked out. That's where we found out I was Heart-worm positive. I'm staying with my foster family while I'm being treated for them, and all is going good! I'm housebroken and neutered. I like playing with toddlers and I get along with other dogs and cats. I'll will be ready for adoption soon through ActNOW! Rescue. I've been given a 2nd chance here, so can you help me find my FUR-Ever home?
Chet adoption donation is $170 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, Avid microchip & deworming. Chet is being fostered in St Louis Missouri but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.
